Michael Bell takes on a very process vs. product renaissance approach to making art, beginning first in his sketchbook visual journals, then as drawings from life on paper, canvas or wood which then become oil and/or mixed-media paintings.

Bell's new series for 2010 is a prequel to his famous "TICKET TO RIDE" paintings. Each oil painting on canvas in this new series is 96" X 48".
