ON VOICES OF VIOLENCE

Voices of Violence exposes the vicious cycle of domestic violence, realized through the female gaze of model, (ex-mafia wife and Hollywood stunt woman) Georgia Durante. This series also explores the psyche of powerful, successful women in Bell's life who have had to overcome extreme perpetrations of violence and tremendous physical and emotional abuse throughout their lives. Through sharing these experiences with you visually, Michael invites you to examine and discuss these women's lives visually and contextually. These works have already empowered others break their silence and break the vicious cycle of domestic violence.
